ABOUT FRANKMARE
Welcome to Frankmare Therapeutic Services, a space for facilitation, collaboration, healing and growth.
As a child, my grandparents (Frank and Mary) provided me a secure base, an emotionally safe space to make sense of the world I was in, helping me navigate life's inevitable moments of adversity. Frankmare was born of a desire to create this same space and feeling for others, a sanctuary if you will, to promote health and wellbeing.
Informed by attachment theory, trauma informed and person centred care, Frankmare provides services aimed at promoting a positive relationship with self, improved and increased connections, the enhancement of parent/carer and educators' understanding of behaviours or queues as a form of communication, and the strengthening of knowledge relative to childhood experiences and in turn the impact on mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
I am passionate about my work and creating a safe and secure environment for achieving therapeutic goals. I look forward to holding space for you.

Biography

Meet Rebecca [Becc] - Founder of Frankmare Therapeutic Services
Thank you so much for stopping by Frankmare Therapeutic Services. I am a proud Social Worker and the founder of Frankmare. My professional background and passion has been directed to working with children and adolescents (within a number of settings), as well as mothers, infants and families during the Perinatal mental health period. I am a qualified Circle of Security Parenting (COSp) facilitator and am trained in principles of a number of therapeutic modalities that I draw from dependent on my client's needs.
Although I found attachment theory later in life, my introduction to the same was like an awakening. The application of attachment theory to my own lived experience promoted a deeper understanding of myself, an awareness of how I have become the woman I am today, my values, beliefs, sensitivities, and worth, despite a lifetime of unintended conditioning to the contrary.
I have witnessed firsthand the benefits of applying the principles of attachment theory to recovery; when we learn to see ourselves and others as a product of environment, rather than 'the problem', healing and growth naturally follows.
I look forward to holding space for you.
Becc
